Dan Byles, the ex-soldier and newly elected Member of Parliament for North Warwickshire & Bedworth, has welcomed what he described as a series of ‘strong measures’ in the Queen’s Speech. Her Majesty unveiled the new Coalition Government’s programme for the coming year by announcing a series of proposed new laws which gave us the first indications of the priorities of the new Government for their first year in office.
