Blue Man badge for Tory MP

Caroline Spelman, MP for Meriden will be wearing a blue man badge during Prime Ministers Question Time and the Budget speech on Wednesday to show her support for the Prostrate Cancer Awareness Week.

Mrs Spelman said: “It is so important to raise the awareness of prostrate cancer. Breast cancer awareness in women is such a success story, yet we don’t see the same awareness of this killer cancer in men.

“This is partly due to fear, but also due to lack of awareness about the symptoms of prostate cancer. Hopefully by many people wearing the blue man badge this week, some of the fear will be taken away and more men will be aware of the symptoms.”
