Traveller reforms to help Mid Worcestershire

Nigel Huddleston MP has welcomed new rules which will offer stronger protection against unauthorised occupation. The new package of reforms unveiled by Communities Secretary Greg Clark earlier this month require councils to provide sites for travellers who move around, where there is a need, however, travellers who are no longer nomadic, will now be subject to the same planning regulations as the settled population.

MP welcomes fall in crime

Warwickshire MP Mark Pawsey, has welcomed news that crime has fallen by more than a quarter (27 per cent) since 2010. This brings recorded crime to its lowest level on record, according to latest figures from the independent Office for National Statistics.
