Dunne welcomes Ludlow Police Station reprieve

Philip Dunne, MP for Ludlow, has welcomed news that police response officers will soon be based in Ludlow Police Station once again. West Mercia police have recognised the importance of basing response officers in Ludlow police station following a period when they were concentrated in Leominster. These officers will return to Ludlow from January. The number of police officers across the area will not change, with officers instead relocated from Leominster and other police teams.

Boost for Worcester apprenticeships as Compco Apprentice Academy launched

Worcester's MP, Robin Walker has today opened a new training academy at Worcester Fire Safety business Compco. The local business, which has been taking on three or four apprentices each year for the last few years has expanded its intake to around twelve and delivered a dedicated new apprentice academy at its Malvern Road site in Worcester.
