Raceday Event2nd November – racing from 1pm! In order to raise funds for the Conservative Party the Party Treasurers’ Midlands Income Generation Board has teamed up with Uttoxeter Racecourse to provide a special fund raising race day for the Party, both locally and regionally. The Party Leader, David Cameron MP will be attending along with other members of the Shadow Cabinet as well as senior MPs and MEPs from around the country. Uttoxeter Racecourse is the premier racecourse in the Midlands and offers top class facilities, hospitality and atmosphere. The event is also a ‘normal’ race day for Uttoxeter and thus, whilst the Conservative Party will be prevalent, there will be the full racing experience. Admission Package – we have negotiated a significant discount on Premier badges purchased in advance by Party members, or supporters. Premier badge holders have access to all public areas of the course. In addition the Paddock Pavilion will be available for the exclusive use of Party badge holders for the duration of the day. Getting to the RacecourseUttoxeter Racecourse Tel. 01889 562561 By Road Situated just off the A50 between Burton on Trent and Stoke on Trent the racecourse is clearly signposted from the A50, A515, A518 and Uttoxeter Town Centre. From the North West M6 to Junction 15, then follow signs for A50 Uttoxeter/Derby From the North East M1 to Junction 24a, straight on to the A50 following signs for Uttoxeter/Derby. From the South and South West From M5(J4a) or M40 (J3a), join the M42 (J7). From the South East M1 To Junction 23a, the A50 (Uttoxeter/Stoke). By Rail Uttoxeter Railway station is adjacent to the Racecourse. Most Intercity services run to Derby and Stoke on Trent which in turn runs regular connecting trains to Uttoxeter. A direct service also operates from Crewe. By Air Helicopters may land on the centre course (by prior arrangement with the racecourse) whilst aircraft may use Tatenhill Airfield at Needwood, 7 miles from the Racecourse.
