The people of Nuneaton deserve an MP who fights for their interests and stands up for our communities – which I’ve done since being elected in 2010. I’ve lived in the Nuneaton area all of my life and my wife and I are raising our family here. As a local person, I understand the issues that concern you because they also concern me, my family and friends.
Daniel was first elected as MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham in 2005. Since being re-elected in 2010 with an increased majority, he has served as Parliamentary Private Secretary in DEFRA and for the Secretary of State for Wales.
Born in 1972 on a council estate, Julian’s father left home when he was ten. His mother - a telephonist – had to work two jobs to keep a roof over their heads. So Julian went out to work at 16, while studying, times were very tough as the household debts built up. But Julian got through it and he became the first member of his family to make it to University.

Midlands born and bred, Rachel went to the local comprehensive school and is a working Mum with four grown up children and a rescue dog, Phoebe. She's a Midlands girl born and bred, and has spent most of her life in the Solihull and Birmingham area. She will be moving as soon as possible to make her family home in Redditch. She currently lives in Dorridge, a 10 minute drive from Redditch, and she knows Redditch well from visiting over the years for work, and to bring her cub pack kayaking on the Arrow Valley Lake.

Amanda Milling is the Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase and was born in Burton upon Trent and brought up in a nearby Staffordshire village. It is here where as a teenager she started getting involved with the Conservative Party delivering leaflets for her County Councillor. Since graduating from University College London, Amanda has built up a successful career in market research. Specialising in financial services, Amanda has represented the views of the public in many of the leading banks and building societies.
Andrew Mitchell has been MP for Sutton Coldfield since 2001. Previously he was the MP for Gedling from 1987 to 1997. During this period he held office as a Government Whip and as Minister for Social Security. He also served as a Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party from 1992 to 1993. In November 2003 he was appointed Shadow Minister for Economic Affairs and subsequently Shadow Minister for Home Affairs.

Wendy lives in the local area but was brought up in North Yorkshire. The daughter of a farmer, she went to the local primary and comprehensive school and later gained a Masters Degree (MBA) with the Open University. Her career began as an Executive Officer in HM Diplomatic Service at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London, before working in the business sector, in sales and marketing.
