Midlands born and bred, Rachel went to the local comprehensive school and is a working Mum with four grown up children and a rescue dog, Phoebe. She's a Midlands girl born and bred, and has spent most of her life in the Solihull and Birmingham area. She will be moving as soon as possible to make her family home in Redditch. She currently lives in Dorridge, a 10 minute drive from Redditch, and she knows Redditch well from visiting over the years for work, and to bring her cub pack kayaking on the Arrow Valley Lake.

Bill lives with his wife Milly near Ledbury. They have three children, Rosie, Jack and Toby all born in Hereford. Bill’s interests include motorcycling and country sports. He keeps chickens and Hereford cows, and champions the cause of country people.

Michael was born in Brighton in 1950 and has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from Loughborough University and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the University of Sussex. He undertook postgraduate doctoral research in Economics and Forecasting at Oxford, London University, and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is also a Chartered Engineer, and a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
Jeremy was born in Taunton, Somerset. His parents were both teachers, as is his brother. He was educated at Taunton School, Trinity School in New York City, Exeter University, and the Inns of Court School of Law. Jeremy was called to the Bar in 1996 and specialised in Criminal Law, both prosecution and defence, and practised in the West Midlands until his election to Parliament. Jeremy has always worked in the West Midlands and has lived in Coventry, Warwick, Rugby and now Shrewley.

Sajid is a proud British-born son of an immigrant bus driver. He was raised in tough neighbourhoods and made the most of state schools to win a place at Exeter University. Sajid then went on, at the age of 24, to become the youngest Vice President in the history of Chase Manhattan Bank and was later headhunted by Deutsche Bank to help raise investment for developing countries.
Mark was born in 1963 in London and is married to Caroline. Together they have three young children; Edward, Jemima and George. Mark went to school at Charterhouse, in Surrey, before embarking on a career in the City of London in 1982.
